“There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
Reading the above scripture someone might that we do all be one in Christ Jesus independently weather we believe in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour.
This is the reason that we need to highlight that we need to study the Bible in its context and not isolated verses here and there. We need to read the whole chapter 3 of Galatians and observe to whom the Apostle speaks and what he speaks about.
Let’s not be lazy Christians being satisfied that you go to our local Church and hear a respectable preacher’s word or listen some great teaching through internet but without going back to the source and study the truth of what was heard. Let’s not just keep our Bibles on the bookshelves or on the coffee table hoping what we will study it at some point.
We ought to be all one in Christ Jesus and under the counselling of one Spirit. When we are guided by the one and only Holy Spirit and we study the scriptures than only read them or hear them, we will be step by step more united till we become that One Church, that One Body.
Colossians 3v11
“Here there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all.
Amen!
Love,
Dimitra
