Cuppas – my kitchen… DS ©

Good morning to you, my good friends and companions. At first, I wish to thank you for visiting this blog in an overwhelming way! A great motivation to continue one day at the time and listen what the Lord speaks for this one day.

We reached the second day of 2011 and I am happy to sit at my office with a cuppa and talk to my Lord and to you my friends. It is a great start of the day. Reading the Word, praying and thanking the Lord as we believe that all our requests, needs and supplications are taken care, as very nicely was said to us:

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”

–          Philippians 4v6

The photo chosen is about cuppas. I promise you that I would not drink so much coffee today…(smiles). Yet, during the coming less than 365 days, we will have quite plenty coffee – or tea or juice – together. This photo represents our union under one God, one Spirit even if we are different in shape, in size, in colour, in design, in personality. Still, we need to be of the same character, the character of Christ. As the cuppas were designed to be used for coffee – or tea – that’s how we are designed to serve and worship the Lord, to fulfil the purpose he has in our lives.

So, let’s enjoy this cup of coffee and pray together:

Our Heavenly Father, we come to you as you have asked us to do, in prayer with thanksgiving in our hearts and present our request to you. Our request Lord is to guide us today to fulfil your purpose in our lives, to guide us in each thing we need to do for your glory, to have clarity in our minds and not confusion, as you are not a God of confusion and fear but of peace and love. All we pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

Be strong through Jesus Christ,

Love,

Dimitra
