The problem? Lack of faith?

“He could not do any miracles there, except lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them. And he was amazed at their lack of faith.”

-Mark 6v5-6a

Hello Ladies and Gents! I believe that we truly need to exercise our faith. The Lord has told us that He has given us an amount of faith. He also told us that we need faith equal to a seed of mustard in order to move a mountain.

When Jesus -the Lord Himself – where He was – (read the verses before the above) – He could not heal the people. Can you imagine Jesus Himself not to be capable to heal? It is a fact!

It is not about His faith that the miracle occurs. It is about our faith. In other words, the Lord will send the miracle but are we open to receive it? Do we believe that it is coming?

Let’s look at ourselves today and see not how much faith we have but whether we exercise it or not!

My prayer to our Father God is to help us to spend time with Him, to mature enough to practice our faith and apply the authority we have in Jesus name and for His Sake, amen!

Love in Christ,

Dimitra

  1. internet elias says:

Faith is simple ‘belief’….thus the ‘little’ mustard seed is used to describe the power of simple ‘belief.’ And the only way to have such simple faith…is by believing God. And one ‘believes’ God through personal encounter with His Spirit. He ‘draws’ us by His invisible but real presence..Spirit. To those who ‘believe’…faith is the offspring of such fellowship with the Father….through divine revelation (spiritual discernment) of the Word of Truth. Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.’ Faith is not possible apart from ‘hearing’……hearing is not possible apart from the Word. And soooooooo many professing believers do not participate/value the Word. (In the beginning was the Word…Word was with God…Word was God…Word was made flesh and dwelt among us).

    Beautiful post. Thank you.
