It is just about truth.

“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

-John 14v6

It is wonderful to start the day by reminding one’s self that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life. All 3 in 1, a good advertisment would have declared!

Good morning to all. Our Father in Heavens, I pray today and I pray in the name of Jesus Christ who is my Lord, who is life, truth and the way. I pray that your mercy becomes mercy from us to others, that we become truly merciful, truly peacemakers and truly your servants, not only in words but in each act we perform in our daily life. I pray Lord that our life style will be about mercy and about peace. Amen!

During the last 16yrs since I became a believer, in so many occasions, my fellow brothers and sisters believers and I have discussed all about His mercy and how much He provides in our lives, how beautiful plans He has for our future and especially about the free gift of eternal life.

All those discussions are great and so encouraging for each one of us. Everything is written and included in the Word of God. But I wonder sometimes: Do people believe in Jesus Christ because He is the truth or because He is the way for them to receive good things, have the prayers answered and eventually they will not die but live forever?

What will happen when all that described in Matthew 24 happens in full blast? They do take place again and again but the time of full distress is still to come. What would happen if Jesus was telling us that there would be no eternal life? Would we want still be with Him?

Personally, I have and still declare that I believe in Jesus Christ because He is the truth, He does exist and He is Lord. The rest are details…

Send you love,

Dimitra
