The most extraordinary thing: Pearls!

Hello! I wish you well and my prayer today is for all of us to appreciate where we are and pray for being always where the Lord wants us. I pray that we produce the deeds and works that the Holy Spirit guides us to implement and that all will work for the best and His Glory, in Jesus Name, amen!

Today, I wish to quote something that Harry Emerson Fosdick wrote:

“The most extraordinary thing about the oyster is this, irritations get into his shell…And when he cannot get rid of them, he uses the irritations to do the loveliest thing an oyster ever has the chance to do. If there are irritations in our lives today, there is only one prescription: make a pearl, it may have to be a pearl of patience, but, anyhow, make a pearl. And it takes faith and love to do it.”

I just love this quote! It is a fact that each person goes through changes, challenges and tragedies throughout life. We cannot avoid troubles. The Lord told us that we will have troubles in life but through Him, we can overcome them. I believe that we can not only overcome them but we can create something good out of them.

By doing so, we interchange irritations with pearls, we replace evil with Godly and we create a better world, even if it is a small creation. We encourage others to do the same!
