When it rains, it pours…

Good morning to all, and to all Good morning!

I love this expression, “when it rains, it pours…”! The truth is that it is not always like this. Living in Africa, for sure, it is like that…the clouds and the rain travel with the light speed and trust me, it really pours. However, in this side of the world – Ireland – when it rains it is a mostly continuous nerve breaking showers that go on and on and on and on…

Interesting enough, this last period Ireland looks more like Africa! Most of the time, when it rains is as a storm full of water and winds…it ,for sure, pours!

Are you tired to reading about weather and rain stuff? No, this is not the idea or the purpose of this post…just a comparisson of what the Holy Spirit does.

We read the amazing declaration from the mouth of God Almighty, in Act 2v17-18

“‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.”

Wow! Is it amazing? Many of us have experienced this rain of the Holy Spirit and it is true when it rains, it pours! And the rain will become more intense and more intense day by day, week by week, month by month and year after year. We are in the last days and each day brings us closer to the last day, whenever this day is, a day that only the Lord knows.

His Holy Spirit lives inside us when we are baptised in Him, we are the temple of the Holy Spirit and the rain will follow us all days of our lives!

1Corinthians 6v19 clearly states so!

“Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;”

We are not our own! and we have access to a pouring rain, Amen!
