We belong to Christ.

Ecclesiastes 1v9

“What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.”

I send you my love and a big hug from beautiful Northern Ireland! It is a challenging period for this blessed land. There is violence around the land due to parades of certain denomination of Christians who create, in a way provocation (according to my humble opinion) towards other denomination. It’s complicated!

Ecclesiastes spoke so wisely through God’s wisdom, saying that there is nothing new under the sun! Troubles were always there, since the beginning of the Church…read…

1Corinthians 1v11-13

“My brothers, some from Chloe’s household have informed me that there are quarrels among you. What I mean is this: One of you says, “I follow Paul”; another, “I follow
Apollos”; another, “I follow Cephas”; still another, “I follow Christ.” Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Were you baptized into the name of Paul?”

Can you see how obvious the situation was? It is not the only scriptures, in the Bible, that inform us about differences and quarrels between Christians. In fact, there are plenty! We are not, you see, only spirit but also flesh.

It is sad and brings shame in our faith. However, we are not quitters! We ought to keep praying for peace and restoration of the land. The situation is much better than it was decades ago but still forgiveness is not fully present. We talk about reconciliation and moving forward, but without forgiveness the past keeps living!

We keep praying…this is the greatest weapon we have in our hands! True Christians belong only to Christ and this is the name above all names! Amen!

Love,

Dimitra
