Can I learn to be happy?

we still have a child full of joy and happiness inside us… DS ©
Hello and howdy!
There is a big research going on in UK in regards of what is happiness and how can we obtain it. It seems that happiness is a skill that we can learn, according to the study.
Talking about Happiness, I have come to realize that I will not be always happy. Nobody has promised me this. The Bible especially speaks about anxiety, worries, sadness, testing moments, even great disasters as the end of the world – as we know it – comes. The following verses just came in my mind:
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (Jesus Christ is speaking)
–          John 16v33
We comprehend that we cannot be happy all days and all moments . Can we, however, have Joy? I believe YES. I witness to this truth. Imagine Joy as a fireplace inside the core of our being, a fireplace where the fire is always lighted, a place where we can go and take happiness back, a place that is the source of happiness. A river full of water at all times; when we feel unhappy, we can go there and drink some water, refresh ourselves. This is the Holy Spirit living inside each believer.
It is the Lord that overcame the world and we can overcome through Him. We can learn this skil.l Our helper, the Holy Spirit, was sent to us in order to guide us, to refresh us and to be an unlimited source of joy which can produce happiness.
Our Lord, our God, our Creator, we come to you and on our knees we just worship you today. There is nothing that we can ask and you do not already know. We just want to say that we love you, we rely on you, we praise your name and we fully trust you!
