Free Indeed!

John 8v34-36

“Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”

Wonderful friends, hello! They say…”better late than never”…so, finally, here I am today writing this post as I was guided during my UCB Prayer Line duty…The morning was busy with meetings. There was a silence from the Holy Spirit but I knew that …the message was on the way…

Once, a woman was in a seminar and she was asked what she wanted mostly in her life. She asked for plenty money. So, the teacher wished to know the reason that she needed money. She responded that when she had money, she would have freedom in her life. The teacher made a great observation: what she really needed was freedom, not the money!

I believe that that woman represents a big part of humanity. We are in search of Freedom!

2Peter 2v19(b)

“…for a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him.”

When we seek freedom and we seek it through money, power, materialistic means or ideological ones, eventually, we are mastered from the means which provided freedom to us. If we lose our money, we will lose our freedom. If we lose power, we will lose our freedom. When ideology is proved manipulated by the leaders, our freedom will disappear!

We need to obtain freedom that it is an unconditional freedom. A freedom that is not depended on conditions! A freedom that is a real freedom!

“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”

The moment that you receive Jesus Christ (the Son) as your Lord and Saviour, you are set free! You are free indeed and not only. You are free once and for good! No slavery will be in your life, if you follow Him and don’t allow to be mastered by anything. You are mastered only by Him. Jesus Christ’s freedom is eternal! Amen!
