Who knows a person’s thoughts…

1Corinthians 2v10(b)-11(a)

“The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them?”

How important the Holy Spirit is in our life. That’s why the Lord told us to get baptised in not only in water but in Holy Spirit and fire. The Lord left this earth and went with the Father but He sent us the Holy Spirit:

Matthew 3v11

“I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me will come one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not fit to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.”

So often, we assume what somebody will say, what somebody thinks or why somebody does something. But this is not the case. We do not need to assume. There is only one way to know, to ask the person. They might tell us straightforward, they might not. They might talk around their thoughts than about their real thoughts. At least, we give them a chance.

No matter what the case, the truth is that only their own spirit knows! There is no need of assumptions. We will save much of our energy and time when we make no assumptions but just stick with the facts.

Love,

Dimitra
