Our Heavenly Father, we come to your presence and say that we love you, we appreciate you, we praise you and give you all the glory. We thank you for your grace and mercy. We want to learn to listen your voice, we ask you to help us to not only listen but also to follow. In Jesus Name, amen!

Job 37v5

“God’s voice thunders in marvelous ways; he does great things beyond our understanding.”

We were created with a voice, a voice that we can use. We were also created with ears, ears that can listen!

One challenge that Christians face is that they are not sure whether something is from God or not. They do not know how to listen from God. They get confused. Some believe that they need to hear a sound voice, others that they feel His voice in their soul. Different opinions, different experiences.

I remember a friend of mine who asked me in which language God speaks to me, in English or Greek? Honestly, I could not answer, I never noticed.

At the same time, we have a voice to speak to the Lord. We often use it to pray to him. We have His promise that:

Psalm 66v19

“but God has surely listened and heard my voice in prayer.”

How comes that the Lord hear our voice and He gets no confusion? We are so many, how he knows who is who? He knows as a good shepherd knows. He created each one of us but also he pays attention. He spends time with us, He learns our hearts, He keeps listening to us and He stays with us.

Exactly this is the way for us to start listening His voice and know that it is His voice without confusion. We need to spend time with Him, to follow Him, to learn His heart, to listen to Him and spend time with Him! As the sheeps know, that how we will know the voice of our Shepherd! Amen!

John 10v14

“I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me–“
