God is not a man…

Numbers 23v19

“God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfil?”

My mind goes though these words and this amazing promise! I would say that not so much about the promise – which is great anyway – but I am thinking around the human attitude. The man represents the human not the male.

Humans lie; humans change their mind; humans say words – wonderful ones – but they do not act upon them; they promise but they do not execute!

Does it sound familiar? I am confident that YES! In fact, it is not a familiar situation that happened to each of us but a condition that we have apply as well! Let’s be honest: we are humans and have our weaknesses.

The good news is that we have a choice to decide how we will act: lie or truth? Keep our word? Keep our promise? Or change our mind? Who determines how we act?

Even better news is that even if others do not practice what we expect from them, at least, we can understand…as we did similar acts ourselves. The most encouraging is that there is a God who is honest, He keeps His promises and acts upon them, He fulfils what He says and He never changes His mind!

So essential to know what He has promised us, to listen His voice and know that we know! Amen!

It is my feeling that there is the Essence of God that we can never attain. However the Light emanating from the Unattainable Essense is possible to be felt by the soul. The Light being a pure force of bestowal and the soul a vessel (desire) to receive this Light. On reception of this Light the Unnatainable Essence (FATHER) can make contact with our soul through the Son (The Light) and the sensation and wisdom experienced causing the renewal of our mind is the ( Holy spirit)

This is how I undestand undestand the New Testament in my heart. I am not waiting for a man called Jesus with a physical body, but presently feel a spiritual Light that fills my desire to make contact with the Creator, then I understand that only through this Light (Jesus) can I get to the father. To me Jesus Christ is the personal Relationship that one develops with the Light, Jesus is the Light of God, man salvation and is a pure force of bestowal emanating from the essence of the unnatainable.
I am not saying that this is the truth….but this is how it feels like to me. =)
Thanks for letting me share this.

Dear Jason, thank you for sharing with us. It is true that only through Jesus we can reconnected with God, Jesus God Himself, one God, one Trinity, Father+Son+Holy Spirit. Romans 10v9 : “That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. ” We thank Him for all He has done for us, for the opportunity to receive salvation. John 14v6 “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” A blessed day to you Jason, keep the faith! In Christ, Dimitra
