Just…

Mark 5v34

“He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.”

Mark 5v36(b)

“Don’t be afraid; just believe.”

Our Father in Heavens, our God and Lord, we come to you and we pray for strength and discipline, to keep loving you as the number one in our life and not the last. Forgive us when we get pre-occupied with worldly life and we forget you. We love you Lord but so many times, we are weak and silly. We need you, we rely on you; we are nothing without you and everything through you. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen!

We forget, we forget and we forget! We forget the miracles happened in our life, we forget the promises we have meditated on them again and again, we forget what a great God we love and serve, we forget His compassion, His love, His beauty, His strength and willingness.

Reading Mark 5, we go through few miracles Jesus Christ performed when still on earth. We don’t only see His strength and ability, the authority with which He speaks to spirits and situations but what mostly we need to absorb is the faith of the people involved!

He said “just believe!” It takes a “JUST”, not more than that! It takes a faith small as a mustard seed. We read that we need basic faith, we read it throughout the Bible! I know, we have talked about it repeatedly but we need to keep reminding ourselves that this is the truth and the only truth.

He said to the woman: “your faith has healed you!” It was not a special phenomenon and power applied to her because she was an exception or a special person. What was special with her was her faith. She went all the way. She became unstoppable, till she could reach HIM. She acted on faith and only. Ask, Believe, Receive! Go all the way! Amen!

Love,

Dimitra
