Armor of Light!

Romans 13v12

“The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.”

And Romans 13v14

“Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.”

Our Lord, our Father in Heavens, we thank you as you have your plans for the day, the day that we expect and we know it is coming, it is almost here. We come with expectation to you and we thank you that we have light inside us, that we are dressed in the armour of light, that we are clothe with you our Saviour, in your name Jesus Christ, our Lord, amen!

How encouraging to know that the night is nearly over. The Lord is almost back (second coming) as He is the light. He is an amazing light, a light that enters in the darkness and kills it.

There is no darkness where there is light and the Lord is full beam light not just a spot at the corner of this world.

He shines upon each one of us and we are His ambassadors, we are the salt of this world and we are the light but not our own, no! Our light shines because of Him, because of what He did to bring us reconciled with God.

We take light from Him and this is the light we reflect. That’s why it says to clothe ourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen!

One Response to Armor of Light!

  1. To find oneself in the world today, ‘buck-naked’; facing the world without any protection from outside exposure (sin), is more than embarrassing–it’s foolish. “Behold, I am going to come like a thief! Blessed is he who stays awake (alert) and who guards his clothes, so that he may not be naked and [have the shame of being] seen exposed!” ~ Revelation 16:15
