Proverb 16v6-7

“Through love and faithfulness sin is atoned for; through the fear of the LORD a man avoids evil. When a man’s ways are pleasing to the LORD, he makes even his enemies live at peace with him.”

Another impressive scripture! Bible is full of those treasures that guide us through the path we need to walk and find solutions for our own fears, troubles, anxieties and issues. Bible might have some symbolism, might have plenty of prophesies (on which we can debate…plenty…) but it provides significant practical suggestions, recommendations that do work!

Let’s reflect upon Proverb 16 and verses 6 & 7. What are our main fears in life? Death, Rejection and Sin! Quite few believers fear satan, they fear him enough to forget the authority they have through Christ!

The scripture above simplifies all those wonders and fears. We sin and will keep sinning (by God’s grace and personal effort, less each time!) but we have forgiveness through the Lord and He reads our hearts – He reads the love in our hearts. This love and keeping being faithful will compensate us for the sin. Through remaining faithful and keep working on we can avoid evil. What’s more wonderful than living in peace with our own enemies? Imagine!

It takes faithfulness, true love and dedication, just keep walking His path! Amen!
