“And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.” Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.”
Our Father God, I pray that you help us to remain strong in our faith, through your power to truly believe what we already know, in the name of Jesus Christ, amen!
I like how the Lord asked the blind people in a so simple way and at the same time a solid way! Not many words said! Basically, He asked only about their faith, he asked them what they believed.
The dialogue is very uncomplicated, effortless, few words but words with meaning and authority.
“According to your faith let it be to you.” Yes, it takes faith and that’s all it takes! But not any faith. “Do you believe that I am able…”. It is about faith not in fate, not in destiny, not in icons, not in angels, not in karma. It is faith in Him, in Jesus.
And that’s all it is! Amen!
