“The disciples were even more amazed, and said to each other, “Who then can be saved?” Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.”
We know how salvation comes: it comes through Jesus Christ. Yet, we wonder who will be saved, when and how! Even during those early days, the disciples were wondering who could sit next to the Lord, who would be first and who would be worthy to be saved.
At least, today, we know better. We might not be the disciples who saw the Lord face to face, listened His teaching from His own mouth but we know what happened after Mark 10! We know how salvation comes and how we keep it up to eternity!
What is vital is that all things are possible with God. It is a fact: we do not deserve much, especially as our thoughts and acts easily go out of God’s way.
Still, it is written:
“After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice: “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.”
So, no matter the impossibility, still multitude will be saved! So, let’s keep doing His will and contribute into His work, follow His calling and don’t lose heart: multitude that no one could count…wearing white robes…
